Elite Bars were this weekend proud to be apart of a record breaking Southport Food & Drink Festival, according to the organisers and Southport OTS news
Southport’s Victoria Park became a culinary haven, showcasing food and drinks from around the globe, much to the delight of a record-breaking crowd from Friday, May 31st to Sunday, June 2nd.
A record customer footfall, coupled with a record number of vendors and glorious weather contributed to the most successful event yet, and most importantly very well behaved public contributing to a fantastic experience all round. Families from across the North of England filled the park from start to finish, enjoying over 100 food, drink, and craft stalls, along with fantastic live music, making it a weekend to remember.
Cllr Paulette Lappin, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Skills said: “I cannot thank our Tourism team and partners enough for putting on an incredible free to enter food & drink festival.
“Victoria Park was packed out with people enjoying everything the festival had to offer and it was clear to see that Southport as a town felt a hugely beneficial economic impact from the three days.
“Lord Street in particular was alive with visitors and inside the festival itself was an absolute joy to behold. Tens of thousands of families and visitors with massive smiles on their faces having just enjoyed a delicious treat from any one of the marvellous traders we welcomed.

“We have worked with the Southport Food & Drink Festival for a number of years for both our Marquee Hire business and Bar Hire Services. Every year the event seems to get better and offer something different. This year it was good to see some good weather following the rain in 2023. We also worked with and enhanced some of our current partnerships over the course of the weekend and I wanted to thank and say a big shout out to 600 degrees pizza, Just Wings, Tic Taco, Cake corner, The ready steady chef, Parker Brewery and Southport Flower Show”
