Death in the Afternoon
A more mysterious cocktail and not one that you find often in a modern day cocktail bar, however still full of flavour with every sip! One for the more affluent of us, this cocktail has a base of champagne with added absinthe to create the kick. Garnish with a rose petal or lemon twist and serve in a coupe glass.
Mai Tai
Mai Tais are another old favourite, with a rum base and flavours of orange and lime to match, it’s the perfect summer drink! Featuring tropical flavours and citrus infusions, this cocktail keeps you entertained even after you’ve drunk the whole bar dry.
Ward Eight
Another less known cocktail, the Ward Eight, whilst it looks like a Cosmopolitan, it has a base of Whiskey finished with flavours of lemon, orange and a touch of grenadine, creating the gorgeous pink colour. The whiskey’s warmth is complemented by the citrusy brightness and the subtle sweetness of the grenadine, creating a balanced flavour profile.
